The Galant VR-4 is rare and special.
The exterior design and contours of the body parts earned this model the nickname "Shark." It was offered as a sedan and station wagon. In Japan, the station wagon was sold under the Mitsubishi Legnum brand. The Galant again won the title of Car of the Year in Japan for 1996-1997. The VR-4 version is equipped with a 2.5L twin-turbo V6 engine producing 280 hp and all-wheel drive.
