The Nikon D3 didn’t just compete, it changed the direction of Nikon entirely. At a time when Canon dominated the professional market, the D3 (and later the Nikon D3s) gave Nikon the win they absolutely needed.
This video is a reflection on that shift, how one camera helped secure Nikon’s place in sports and photojournalism.
