Rewiring the Beast: E-Z Wire Kit Install & Custom Mopar Dash Build!
In this episode, I’m taking on one of the most daunting tasks of any classic car build: a complete rewire. My '72 Plymouth Fury’s original wiring was a disaster, so I’m gutting the whole thing and installing a 21-circuit E-Z Wire kit.
But that’s not all. I hated the boring stock instrument cluster, so I’m fabricating a custom, all-black dash with new gauges and some purple LED lighting to give it that "Deep Purple" vibe. Watch me struggle with Bondo (my old nemesis!), wrestle with wiring looms, and finally hear that big block Mopar fire up with its new electrical heart.
It’s been months of sanding, soldering, and 3D printing custom parts, but the result is 1000% worth it.
