What is Brain Freezing
This is an interesting video in which I give detailed information about what is brain freeze, freezing pain, cold stimulant headache.
You probably don't think of ice cream as a painful ingredient. However, in the hot summer months, taking a few large spoons from a bowl of ice cream placed in front of you as a treat can cause a sharp pain called "brain freeze".
Brain freeze, also called "ice cream pain" colloquially, is known as "cold stimulating headache" in medical terms. Doctors have not been able to fully explain brain freezing, which is a fire phenomenon that can affect people of all ages.
The main trigger for this type of headache is the sudden exposure of warm air to cold air. Such pain may be caused not only by internal triggers but also by external factors. For example, taking off your hat in a cold weather or jumping into ice-cold water at once can have the same effect in more dangerous proportions. Brain freezing can be caused by the sudden stimulation of nerves and blood vessels in the mouth, which occurs with the intake of very cold substances.
