Fuzzy Lookup
In this video we will see how to use the Fuzzy Lookup add-in for Microsoft Excel.
Fuzzy Lookup allows you to carry out a lookup even when the target and the lookup are NOT exactly the same. Therefore it is a more versatile method to do a lookup than vlookup because vlookup either requires an exact match or would grab the first item close to the lookup and also requires that the list from which the values are being looked up be sorted. The fuzzy lookup on the other hand does not require the list from whcih we are doing the lookup to be sorted nor does it just grab the first close match.
