How to Play Hogwarts Legacy 4 days BEFORE launch on 2/6/23 at 6AM ET, PS5 & Xbox Series X/S
We show you how to play Hogwarts Legacy which launches on Friday, February 10, 2023, on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 6AM ET in the USA. This works for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players if you follow the steps in this video. First, you need to buy the digital deluxe edition (after we make you an New Zealand resident of cyberspace). That allows you to play at midnight your local time on 2/7/23, Tuesday at midnight.

That is 72 hours before the standard edition midnight launch of 2/10/23 on the PS5 and XSX/S. Midnight is different all over the world. Midnight in New Zealand is 18 hours ahead of midnight in New York and 21 hours ahead of midnight in Los Angeles.

Creating a New Zealand profile on the PS5 allows you to buy games on the New Zealand PlayStation store. You need to put in your real e-mail address (probably different than you USA PS profile) that you check. Remember your login details. Put in a NZ address. Pay for the digital deluxe edition of the game with New Zealand gift cards you bought from PC Games Supply (which is not a sponsor). I have had success buying these gift cards from them.

Download the game and you can start playing on February 6, 2023, at 6AM ET.
For Xbox Series X/S go to settings. Then choose system. Then choose Language and Location. Then choose New Zealand as your location. Then restart with NZ language. Buy the digital deluxe edition of Hogwarts Legacy.
There is no trick to play early on PC which cannot start playing until USA ET 10AM 2/7/23 if the digital deluxe edition is purchased. There are no pre-downloads for PC.
