How to Convert to and from a FASTA Formatted File
The Scenario: You have a FASTA formatted alignment file (DNA or Protein) but the program that you need to use requires that the alignment be in another format (Phylip in the video). Using a free software program called BioEdit I show you how to easily convert a sequence alignment into another format.
