How to Add Telegram Chat to WordPress Site

And in this video, I will tell you how to add a Telegram chat to your website.

We install it on our website in the standard way and activate it.
Go straight to the plugin settings page.
For it to work in Telegram, you need to create a new bot using BotFather - a special bot for this.
BotFather has many different features, if necessary I can write a separate article about it or make a video.
Find it through the search in Telegram.
Next, enter the slash newbot command.
Then enter the name and username, it will be used in links.
The username must end in "bot".
After you create your bot, BotFather will provide you with a unique API token.
This token is similar to a password that will allow you to manage your bot.
Copy this token and save it in a safe place.
It must be added to the Authentication token field.
We still need to fill in the next field Telegram chat ID.
This value can be obtained through the bot my_id_bot
Just find it through the search in Telegram and run it.
It will show your Telegram ID, copy it and paste it into the form field on the plugin settings page.
You can check the operation by clicking on the Check webHook button, if everything is OK, we will get the Good message.
Next, you can enter text for the chat form fields: name, greeting text, and text when the chat operator is unavailable.
In the Telegram Link field, you can add a link to your Telegram account, it will be displayed as a button.
You can also set up a schedule for when the chat will be available.
To make the plugin work, check the Enabled box and save the settings.
I open the site in another browser and refresh the page.
A chat icon appears in the lower right corner of the browser window, by clicking on which you can start chatting.
All messages entered by the user on the site are automatically forwarded to our bot.
And we can respond to them by clicking on the message and selecting Reply.
Your responses are forwarded to the chat window.
You can only exchange text messages.
I tried to add an image to the response, it did not arrive.
