2016 MBPr Screen Brightness compared to late 2012 MacBook Pro Retina model
In this video i compare the screen brightness of a 2016 MacBook Retina 15 with touch panel to the late 2012 MacBook Retina 15 model.
As you can see from this video taken side by side then you 2016 retina display is much brighter then the late 2012 model.
Therefore if screen brightness is an absolute must for you this is the computer you should get. However starting a 2400 bucks it is very expensive.
Also if my class is not necessary for you I would suggest a new HP Spectre X360 15 inch model that has a very bright screen for a Windows machine and comparable specs to the MacBook Retina at half the price.
