Fitting Bivariate Mixture Distributions
This video demonstrates a new procedure in Statgraphics 19 for fitting a data distribution consisting of 2 or more bivariate normal distributions. The procedure estimates the means, standard deviations and correlation coefficient of each component of the mixture, as well as the proportions of the population that belong to each component.
