Recorded this on a whim yesterday because it’s something that I finally made peace with last year... being ok with being sensitive.
I’ve always felt things very deeply. Whether it’s joy and excitement or sadness and anger. It’s like I feel every emotion to my core. And I’m not good at “hiding” them.
But for the longest time, which was most of my life, I felt like I needed to bottle the “bad emotions” up. Feeling sadness was bad. Being angry was bad. Anything besides feeling happy was not ok. So I would bottle up my intense emotions in order to make everyone else more comfortable. Until they would become too much and then they’d explode... in the form of an anxiety attack or a panic attack.
I always felt something was off. Why do I care so much? Why am I so emotional? Why am I overly sensitive? As if it was something that needed to be fixed.
But we don’t need to be “fixed” for being sensitive or feeling deeply. And it was only this past year that I started looking at the positives and the beauty of being able to feel deeply. There is nothing wrong with being sensitive. There is nothing wrong with feeling emotions. The only problem is if you let those emotions define who you are and swallow you whole.
So if you think you feel too much or are too sensitive, then hopefully this video resonates with you. Your sensitivity is a gift.
Thank you, as always, for your support and for watching! Love youuuuuu

*WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME?*
My name’s Natassia and my goal is to make women feel like they can feel stylish at any age and size. I’ve always been passionate about fashion, but I also am ALL ABOUT self-love and self-care, which is the reason I started this channel! I wanted to bring two things I really care about together: fashion and self-love. I want every woman to feel comfortable in her own skin, because I spent many years uncomfortable in mine… and fashion is one of the things that helped me come out of my shell.
