People often view startups and small businesses as similar things once an entrepreneur starts his journey into a particular field. Undoubtedly, the term ‘startup’ has exponentially grown these days with the people showcasing interest in it. It certainly has some things in common but has key differences.
Business is a traditional one and running for revenue and profit. Traditional restaurants and coffee shops are examples of businesses.
The startup is also a business, but it works with creativity and innovation. Swiggy and Uber's services are examples of startups.
Innovations are the most important things for a startup. Startups are meant to create something new and to improve what already exists.
A startup should always grow and within the shortest possible time creating a reproducible business model. You should be able to reproduce the success of the company worldwide.
Technologies are oftentimes the main product of startups. But even if it is not so, startups cannot help but use new technologies to achieve fast growth and scale-up.
