While you are in the sun your sun resistance will start to lower. After you after below 0/100 on your sun resistance vital stat you will become sunburned. To raise your sun resistance you can either use potato paste, which raises your sun resistance by 25 per paste used and you will no longer be sunburned. You can also stand in the shade to raise your sun resistance.
Rainy days, being in the shade or your base, early morning or late evening will not cause your sun resistance to lower.
