The Aberdeen Angus breed is a breed of beef cattle. The Aberdeen Angus breed was developed in the 19th century in Scotland, in the harsh mountainous regions of the county of Aberdeen, by crossing polled black cattle from Aberdeenshire with brown cattle from Angus. The Aberdeen Angus breed has become the second most widespread in the world. Currently, the Aberdeen Angus breed is bred in North and South America, Oceania, and Europe. The bull is polled (hornless), black in color, and compact in build. The height at the withers is 125-130 cm, and the bulls weigh 750-800 kg. The animals are distinguished by the fact that they can be kept outdoors, even in the most severe frosts.
