Rikers Island Cat Rescue - A Day-to-Day Q&A
We went out to the NYC jail complex on Rikers Island to visit Gloria Murli and her charity Rikers Island Cat Rescue, which serves to care for and rehome the feral cats of Rikers Island. Joining us for this Q&A section was longtime volunteer Vanessa Gomez.
The visit was part of our ongoing documentation on the walking project, 'Post Clarity'. Series Three of 'Post Clarity' is Lost Pets of New York, where we document all the lost pet posters we encountered on our trip as digital art pieces. All proceeds from the project go directly to Rikers Island Cat Rescue.
