(WR) Terraria MASTER All Bosses Set Order in
I honestly have no words to describe the emotions I feel about this run. Just two years ago I thought I had reached the limit after breaking @dacktem5513's 2:45, a time I once considered to be near the human limit of this category at the time. Yet, despite this, I managed to tear away minutes at a time from each split, and bring the theoretical time down in a perfect run to just below 2 hours, and this run is the first to break that milestone.
This run is the culmination of everything I have learned speedrunning this game. I hand crafted a route based on the fastest possible night cycles, practiced every boss, optimized cheese setups, created adaptions and backups to many different scenarios, and so, so much more. After thousands of resets, hundreds of deaths, and many off pace runs, this is the final result.
It's unfortunate that my auto splitter did not work, likely when I changed the splits to combine some bosses I fought at the same time (still killed in the intended order). This forced me to manually split every split besides Moonlord and I forgot to do so for many of them, which caused some splits to be wrong. I will have the correct splits further down in the description if you want to see each bosses actual kill time. I will also include individual splits for each portion of the run if you are interested in how I did certain tasks.
There is still a good chunk of time to be saved from:
Greeding Less Loot (Jungle, Hellevator, Dungeon)
Many Micro and Macro Mistakes
Minor Movement Optimizations (Yakis, Hooks, Dashes)
More Task Overlap (Crafting, Inventorying)
More Boss Overlap (Twins & Prime)
Avoiding Bad RNG (Pirates, Weapon Reforges, Weapon Drops, Pillar Locations, etc.)
The only truly major time saves I can think of come from:
Hitting Day/Night Cycles Earlier (N3 Mechs, N1 Skeletron, etc.)
I have no doubt that this run will likely stand for a VERY, VERY, VERY long time given the RNG and execution needed to even complete a run in the first place (Massive props to @dacktem5513 and @Patrik2569 for being the only other two people to complete a run, and for providing numerous strategies I use or adapted).
