How to create animations and progress bars in Descript using Cues. The new video editing functions in Descript include something called 'cues'. Try Descript now: https://cotovan.com/descript
Cues in Descript allow you to perform basic animations and transitions on clips and some objects, quite easily. Cues allow you to change the position and the size of clips and objects across time, between two keyframes.
In this video we create an animated progress bar, which is a rectangle that moves across the screen to simulate a progress bar across the bottom. Learn how to create basic animations in Descript using Cues in the composition tracks.
Descript can be quite buggy and they also update it quite often. I am sure that the Cues functionality was also intended to work in the Sequences, but at the time of recording, it doesn't work in sequences, only in compositions. The sequence cue dialog does not show any of these animations available, for some reason.

I am using Descript 17.1.1 in this video. Hopefully, future versions will address that bug.
