Maximo leaves Argentina behind and travels to Italy in search of someone from his past. But before he can find the answers he is looking for, an unexpected turn of events leads him into the heart of the Royal Palace.
There, a bond slowly begins to grow between Maximo and Princess Sabrina — a love neither of them had planned for.
Caught between duty and love, Maximo struggles against his own heart, building walls around feelings he knows he should not allow. At the same time, his search for the truth draws him deeper into the mystery surrounding Francesco, while his relationship with the Princess faces the disapproval of King Emanuele.
But when Maximo finally allows himself to give her his heart, he discovers that he is also willing to give his life to protect the people he loves.
DUTY & CROWN is a fictional story set in an alternate present-day Italy where the Italian monarchy still exists.
The story was born from a short music video that inspired viewers to ask for a full-length story about a bodyguard and a princess. That idea eventually became DUTY & CROWN.
