This is how to stop trespassers on your property with a simple gate. We do have a no respassing sign at the entrance but this didn't stop trespassers from going on our property. So, we dug some holes and put post in concrete. Then we put up a chain between the post. Lastly, put up legal no trespassing signs. We think this solution will work better to stop trespassers instead of the single sign at the entrance of the property.
