Why I went from Character Animator to Web Developer
My background is actually in animation. It was by change that i got involved in code at all. I know i am not the only one who has a had a career change into the coding industry and though i would share how that got set up for me.
My background is actually animation. Motion graphics and character animation. I went to school for animation and have got to do both 3d animation and 2d animation.
I went to school for animation and even improved my craft when i went to animationmentor.com. (a great place)
But with the changes in the industry and debt collected from college, the irony is that maintaining it was hard to do.
I learned alot from college. But if i could do it over again, would of skipped it and taken just the vocational animation mentor route.
At the time there was a large misconception about the demand and the actual amount someone should expect to receive in the field.
For years that is what i did and i was doing the animation by working for myself. Or if it was for companies it was as a contractor.
Well anyways this is my story of how i went for animation to code.
