In this video, I’ll show you how to create an infinite looping marquee animation with photos in Figma...perfect for website prototypes and modern UI presentations.
We’ll begin by creating a group of images and duplicating them so the same pattern appears at the end of our auto layout. This becomes our Marquee Track. Then, we’ll wrap that auto layout inside a frame—our Wrapper—duplicate the frame, and offset it so the repeated images align perfectly.
With both frames ready, we’ll turn them into a component set and use Figma’s Smart Animate to bring it all to life—mimicking the infinite looping marquee effect you’ve seen on countless websites.
