Time to relax alongside some of our favorite #DumboOctopus footage. This type of Cirrate, or finned, octopod is named such because the fins on the sides of their bodies make them look like the flying elephant in the Disney cartoon. Some spend their time sitting on the bottom of the seafloor, sometimes getting up and swimming with a combination of fin flapping and jellyfish-like pulses of the arms and web. Others seem to spend their time up in the water column rather than on the bottom.
