IPANEMA: Boardwalk in a [REALLY] Sunny Day - Brazil com S
No matter the day or whether the day is sunny or rainy, the Ipanema boardwalk will always be full of people strolling along the beautiful Portuguese stones.
It is located between Ipanema Beach and Avenida Vieira Souto which is one of the busiest and most beautiful roads in the entire city of Rio de Janeiro.
The Calçadão became a symbol of Rio de Janeiro in the 70s where young people made it a real point to meet friends, play sports or simply enjoy the day.
It is very common to walk along the boardwalk and find famous celebrities playing sports or walking to observe the beautiful Ipanema Beach.
The Calçadão has three famous Posts in its extension and each one of these posts has its characteristics and groups of particular frequenters. We have the post for surfers, for LGBT's, etc.
This boardwalk is also very popular for having a great view of the sunset.
