Starfield - Improving the Star Eagle (Ship Customization Guide)
In this video, I will give you a quick guide on the best way to customize this ship to meet your needs. This ship is earned by completing the Freestar Collective Quest Line. The original design is lacking space on the interior of the ship in my opinion. Much more can be added without ruining the overall aesthetic of the ship.
Steps:
1. Go to New Atlantis and edit your ship.
Replace Weapon One (Missile Launchers) with Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojectors.
Add 4 more Autoprojectors to max out the firing capability. Trust me, this is arguably the most OP weapon for your ship. In battle, put everything in this. If you are trying to capture a ship, split the power with this Weapon and another Weapon.
2. Next, travel to the Narion System. Go to the Stroud-Eklund Staryard (outside Dalvik)
3. Speak to Havershaw. He is right inside sitting at a desk. He has all the parts you need. This is the location of the ship manufacturer / shipyard to buy all the parts to match the theme of the ship.
4. Delete these structural components. They are unnecessary. This also keeps it close to the original design.
These open spaces are perfect spots for a 2x1 Armory & 2x1 Workshop.
5. Add windows (portholes) for viewing. Put these in the front.
6. Add Nova Radiators to the back to tie in the original structural design.
7. If desired, you can add more 2x1 Habs below the ones we just inserted. I elected not to, but it is an option. :)
8. Lastly, to make 100 Mobility, I added two engines. *White Dwarf 1020 Engines.
This also increase your crew size to 8.

This is a tour of the interior. I didn't change the center because I liked the brig. If you don't like the brig, you can delete the 2x2 brig and 2x1 living quarters and insert a 2x3 mess hall!
This door leads to the armory and is very close to the Captain's Quarters and docking port.
Up this ladder is the Captain's Quarters and docking port.
Now to the other side. This brig could be replaced with a different 2x2 if desired.
This door replaces a bathroom and leads to the Workshop. I like how it is directly off the Brig.
