Fluminense 3 x 1 Corinthians | Highlights | Brazilian Championship 2026
A HOT NIGHT AT THE MARACANÃ!
#Fluminense defeated #Corinthians 3-1 in the 9th round of the #BrazilianChampionship. On a very hot night at the Maracanã, #Zubeldia's team was far superior to #DorivalJr's side, securing three points and remaining in the fight for the top of the competition table.
In the first half, Fluzão opened the scoring with #JohnKennedy and extended their lead with #Hercules. With well-worked plays, the Warriors dominated the game and made goalkeeper #Fábio work very little.
In the final 45 minutes, the home team continued to have total control of the match and the Argentinian #Castillo came off the bench and scored the third. Corinthians pulled one back for the visitors, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback in Rio de Janeiro.
