CITRA by varse (Extreme Demon) | Geometry Dash
After I fluked Cybernetic and Spectrum I knew I had a big storm coming, and I should've known it would hit during this level. For some reason, GD ensures that I have the unluckiest experiences possible with the levels I love, and this is the perfect example of that.
I made quick progress on this level, getting to 89% within three or four days. The next few days are where the trouble happened. In total, I died past 62% a whopping 167 times, which is significantly more than expected to say the least. I also died to the ending (past 80%) a total of 48 times, including three deaths at 96%. How joyous!
As for the level itself though, I truly believe it's the most fun level in the entire game. The gameplay is extremely satisfying to pull off and I found myself not ever getting bored despite the long sessions and my immense unluckiness. The pure enjoyment I got from the gameplay negates all of the bad experiences I had playing the level, and because of that I'm going to give it the first 10/10 enjoyment rating I've ever given to an extreme.
