Upgrade your old camera to the latest Colour Science
In this video I show you how you can make a profile that will effectively upgrade the Sony RX1R Mark 2's colour science to the latest version, making much more pleasing images.
I use the A7CR as the reference camera, but this technique can be used to match the look of any two cameras.
Some users complain that the RX1R Mark 2 which uses the same sensor and processor as the A7R Mark 2 makes images that are not as pleasing and are harder to process than the latest Sony Cameras. This isn't a deficiency of the sensor or the processor and by makine an import profile you can match up the Sony RX1R to the latest Sony colour look.
I use Premiere to make a colour look up table or LUT and then convert this to a profile that can be applies in Lightroom. If you have found a better way to do this I would love to hear about it. Please leave me a comment.
