Stationeers | Tutorial Series For New Players | Storm Preparation and A Better Way To Mine | #4
As we move on, we're getting closer to our first storm so we need to make sure we're ready for that. We setup the weather station, take some time and get things moved into the base and secured and also take a look at mining charges and a better hand held drill.
Stationeers is a survival / building / engineering game where you build a station capable of supporting life (yours in particular). There is a lot to do:
Manage your Power infrastructure making sure you have plenty of power whilst making sure you don't overload your networks
Sustain your hunger and hydration by growing crops and producing water
Setup your base atmosphere with the appropriate pressure of Oxygen whilst making sure you don't poison yourself with other gasses
Build a suitable system capable of cooling your base
Setup automation so you don't have to mine by hand forever
Setup complex logic networks from solar tracking to automatic ore processing
If you're a new player, the game can be very overwhelming and you might want to quit before you've even got started. The trick is to stick with it and just have fun.

This game is not for the faint of heart and you are going to blow your station up. With enough perseverance, you can build a superb station capable of supporting yourself and earn the title of Stationeer.
