In this video, I'll show you how to build a fully 3D printed Direct Drive force feedback steering wheel using a cheap hoverboard motor and a bunch of other inexpensive electronics. The price is between 100 euros and the results blow out of the water any other wheel available for even double that price. The direct drive motor offers high torque and detailed feedback with 15nm of peak torque and fast acceleration. the wheel is based on the FFBeast firmware and is designed to be as easy as possible to build, no need to modify the motor or anything similar, just 3D print the files and assemble them!
