Money Heist (Spanish: La casa de papel; literally The house of paper) is a Spanish heist television series created by Álex Pina for Antena 3. The series is a limited series that aired for one season in two parts. It premiered on 2 May 2017 and ended on 23 November 2017. The series stars Úrsula Corberó, Paco Tous and Alba Flores. On 25 December 2017, the first part of the first season premiered internationally on Netflix, though the season was re-edited into 13 episodes instead of the original number of nine episodes. Netflix released the second part of the season internationally on 6 April 2018 and re-edited the remaining six into nine episodes.
