Tutorial | How to Fix Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered PC 's Out of Memory Error
Only took a PC game I love to make another tutorial video. Today im showing a potential fix to MW2CR's PC "Out of memory. You are probably low on hard disk space. (12)"
TLDR: The players2 folder and your battlenet profile with the config files are not being generated correctly when launching the game normally. (even the game's safe mode either)
You must find a way into safe mode with networking and launch MW2CR there to generate the missing files
If you are on Windows 10 Version 1909, 1809 or lower than that, there is a nasty safe mode/login bug that if using a pin or any authentication method with a microsoft account you cannot log into safe mode at all. Only way I found to fix it is to enroll in the windows insider program and install windows 10 version 2004 which fixes this login bug. (This version is expected to be released to the public sometime this month)
There could be other potential methods to getting the missing files and maybe even editing them but since I found this method it has worked for me on 3 different machines already.
