Today was our second full day in the AirBnb. We hired the very personable and easy-going taxi driver Elvis to take us to Máncora.
Máncora is a resort town in the Piura region, on the northwest region. It is famous for Mancora beach whose large waves attract surfers.
On the way to Máncora, Elvis suggested stopping by Punta Sal. Puntal Sal is considered the longest beach in Northern Peruvian coast, 6.5 km or 4 miles long. This beach was way less crowded than Mancora beach. In my opinion, this beach was way better.
We continued down to Mancora and did some shopping. We had a fantastic lunch at Las Gemelitas. It was great to finally visit this resort town which has been on my bucket list for a long time.
Later in the afternoon, I got to swim in the ocean and in the pool. I got to watch the sunset and got a fabulous Timelapse.
