Russia's New Turtle Tanks

These jammers aim to disrupt the signal controlling explosive-laden, commercially available drones used by Ukrainian forces. These drones have proven effective against infantry and armored vehicles, prompting Russia to develop countermeasures.
Trade-Offs and Ukrainian Interest: While the focus on drone defense is clear, the added armor likely hinders the tank's capabilities. This vulnerability is evidenced by the Ukrainian 12th Azov Brigade's capture and examination of a jammer-equipped T-72 near Terny earlier in April. The captured tank highlights Ukrainian interest in these jammers and their potential effectiveness in countering drone threats.
