Bickenbach - Diversion traffic during the Riedbahn renovation | Alex E
The Riedbahn line between Frankfurt am Main and Mannheim will be renovated throughout the second half of 2024. Traffic will, of course, have to take a detour. One of the two main diversion routes is the Main-Neckar line, which connects Frankfurt am Main, Darmstadt, and Heidelberg. Since it's now November and I still haven't checked the increased traffic, it was time to do so before the Riedbahn closure is over.
I checked the traffic at the stations in Bickenbach, Weinheim (Bergstr) Hbf, and Neu Edingen/Friedrichsfeld.
Here I'll show you what I experienced at Bickenbach station.
