In this video, I’m showing you a super effective trick to prep your car’s headliner board before recovering it with new fabric — using a powerful lint roller to remove all those stubborn, sticky foam balls and fluffy residue.
This method is perfect for anyone doing DIY headliner repairs or upgrades. It helps clean the fibrous surface without damaging it, making it ready for re-gluing and re-covering with your new material.

SHORT TERM SAGGING HEADLINER REPAIRS:
The temporary repair we see customers do often which is using thumb tacks/drawing pins to hold up the fabric is not a good idea due to potenially saftey concern to your self and passengers inside the car, espically little ones/infants accidentlly ingesting them. This is why instead we suggust twist pins or staples to secure into headliner more effectively. Just adding glue is best advoided, it usualy leaves viable stains plus due to potenial risks of compromising the board structure/appearence or quality of professional outcome when it comes time for that.
