GANYU QUICK DPS BUILD GUIDE | GENSHIN IMPACT
I had a lot of requests for my Ganyu Build, so here is what I'm using right now!
Additionally, I recommend the Blackcliff Warbow for a 4* weapon, or Favonious/Stringless if you're running her as support.
BUT BEYOND EVERYTHING, DO WHAT IS THE MOST FUN FOR YOU!

There are lots of potential ways to build Ganyu. Here is the general setup I've been using in my videos
Before we start, I need to cover a few things:
1 - My Ganyu is C3 and for my single-target damage, only her C1 has an effect by giving my charged shots after the first 15% cryo shred.
2 - I have the Amos bow, but I've also 1-phased dvalin with a stringless. 4-star bows will work just fine
3 - Ganyu is COMPLETELY VIABLE at c0
4 - I'm using her as a DPS role for now, but she is also EXTREMELY GOOD as a support.
With that out of the way..
In my setup, I'm using the two-piece bonus from the Blizzard Strayer (cryo) set and the gladiator set. There are plenty of options, but this one lets me see big numbers, especially given what artifacts I currently have.
Regardless, you want Cryo Damage on her cup, atk on her sands, and ideally crit damage on her hat.
My overall crit rate is 34% and my crit damage is 181%. The crit rate may seem low, but her first ascension bonus works similar to her first constellation in that after a charged shot, her subsequent charged shots will have 20% increased crit chance for 5 seconds. As well, if you decide to use the 4 piece blizzard strayer, she'll have even more crit chance - so much so that you can itemize almost completely for crit damage - and I do recommend having a bias towards it.
When leveling her talents, focus on her normal attack first, followed by her burst.
There are plenty of different team comps that work well with her, but I do recommend having someone who can shield if possible to help keep her charged shots from being interrupted. She's like a tactical nuke
