Create a *private* Customer/Client Area in WordPress where only logged-in users can access selected pages—and even different sets of pages based on user role. In this tutorial, I’m using the WP Customer Area plugin to build a simple client portal, restrict page access, and assign multiple private pages to specific customer types (roles).

What you’ll learn in this video
How to set up a Customer Area (client portal) on your WordPress website
How login restrictions work (public vs private content)
How to create private pages and show them only to selected customers/clients
How to assign multiple pages to a specific user role type (role-based content access)
How to structure a “Customer Dashboard” experience (menus, links, navigation)
How to test access properly (admin vs customer, different roles, incognito checks)
Common mistakes: caching issues, incorrect permissions, wrong role mapping, indexing concerns

Use cases (real-world examples)
Web agency: each client gets their own project pages (brief, timeline, invoices, deliverables)
Service business: show reports, documents, and updates only to paying customers
Freelancers: private “handover” pages per client with files and instructions
Internal teams: role-based access for staff vs managers vs vendors

If this helped, like the video, subscribe, and comment your use case (agency portal, client dashboard, memberships, etc.)—I’ll suggest the cleanest structure for it.
