A processor is the brain of a computer.
Just like your brain helps you think, learn, and decide what to do, the processor helps the computer think and follow instructions.
Imagine this:
You tell the computer:
"Open my game!"
The processor quickly says:
"Okay!"
"Let's open the game."
"Show the pictures."
"Play the sounds."
It does all of this super fast—so fast that it happens almost instantly!
Think of a school
The teacher gives instructions.
The student follows the instructions.
The processor is like the student. It listens and does the work.
