Text Expander + AI Rewriter in One Chrome Extension

KeyText is live today.

A Chrome extension that types my emails for me — not in the gimmicky AI way, but in the "I literally type /intro and the full message appears" way.

Three months ago, I was watching our team retype the same client onboarding email for the 30th time that week. We had ChatGPT in one tab to rewrite the tone. Text Blaze in another for the snippet. Both useful. Neither is talking to the other.

So I built one tool that does both, inside every text field on the web.

Type /intro in Gmail, LinkedIn DMs, Slack, Notion — the message drops in. Highlight any sentence and an AI rewrite menu opens: shorter, more formal, translate to Spanish, "make this sound like a VP."

Smart variables fill themselves. Auto-reply chat remembers context. Imports your Text Blaze and TextExpander libraries with one click.

Specific things I'd love your honest read on:

— The slash-command UX. Is it discoverable enough for someone who's never used a text expander (or you can use a dot-command instead)?

— The 50 free AI actions a month. Generous or stingy for the free tier?

— The migration tool. If you have Text Blaze or TextExpander snippets — please try the import and let me know what breaks.

Free forever for 15 snippets. Live on the Chrome Web Store now — link in the comments.

If you reply to emails for a living, this is for you.
