Jesse is excited about the beginning of hunting season and the great reports on salmon this year. He's optimistic about the strategic moves that we're making with wetland and habitat restoration in the Interior to mitigate the effects of low water flows and drought. In education, he's looking forward to the Learn to Hunt Academy taking place at Ridgedale Rod & Gun Club this weekend, the upcoming Becoming an Outdoors-Woman in Squamish. Jesse and the rest of the BCWF Senior Leadership Team are making big plans for 2024 to propel the organization forward, including raising the profile of fish, wildlife, habitat conservation, sport shooting, and public access to public resources as the provincial election approaches. The BCWF is trending upward, with over 20,000 people reached by our programs this year and outstanding media statistics, with plans to do even better in 2024. Jesse is also looking toward his upcoming trip to Ottawa and our increased federal advocacy.
