Few in the underwater world would risk encountering a freshwater crab. Its fearsome claws leave no chance for its victims, and its powerful armor makes it invulnerable.
But the leech is hungry and actively searching for prey. Would it really risk its life for the sake of satiation?
The crab seems unthreatening and remains calm. But this is its fatal mistake.
The leech swirls around the crab, exploring its weak points.
Finding a hole in the armor of this living tank, it strikes with lightning speed and injects an anticoagulant into its body.
After this, it literally sucks the life out of it, growing in size before its eyes. Futile attempts to dislodge the predator are futile.
One such meal is enough for the leech to last for several months.
All that remains of the crab are its armor and weapons, which it has no use for.
