But what is WingetUI?
This fantastic free #application groups and #manages software #packages from: #Winget, #Scoop, and #Chocolatey. It allows us to easily, quickly, and directly #install any free software available on these platforms. All from a user-friendly graphical interface where we can access programs such as:
• Browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge, Brave;
• Audio editors like Audacity, decompression tools like 7-Zip, Adobe Acrobat DC, Calibre, Caprine Messenger, and over 6,000 other programs are all accessible through WingetUI.
• You can even install apps from the Microsoft Store, such as WhatsApp, WhatsApp Beta, Unigram, and more.
WingetUI also allows you to update and uninstall installed software. It provides complete software information, website details, version selection, download link copying, and much more. It offers quite acceptable accessibility, especially for installing and searching for programs. While the update process has some focus issues, it is perfectly usable. WingetUI Compatibility: To use WingetUI, you need a PC with Windows 10 or 11.
WingetUI Tutorial: I've recorded a tutorial where I'll show you:
• WingetUI Installation.
• A brief tour of the WingetUI interface.
• How to navigate the tree of available software to install.
• A demonstration of the context menu options (when you hover over the name of a program to install).
