Vote for Jesus! | 1 John
It feels like most politicians want you to believe that your greatest strength is your vote. They imply that the only power you have to make a difference in this world is to give THEM the power to make a difference. But this is not true, which is really good news if you’re not old enough to vote! Our actions, whether we can vote or not, are able to make a huge impact on the world around us. A vote for any person is just a vote for that person. But when we love God and love others, it’s almost like we’re voting for Jesus! If we want God’s will to be done on earth, we can help make that happen by living and loving according to His will. Voting the way God wants you to vote is great, but it’s no substitute for showing His love to those around us. More than just words, let’s let our actions be a vote for Jesus.
