The purpose of this Youtube Channel is to improve the quality of commercials that are being made for viewers and potential customers.
What makes me qualified to give unbiased ratings and comments on various commercials on T.V? There is no special qualification for doing this. I have however spent years upon years of critiquing commercials because I noticed that the quality of a lot of commercials were fading. Only critiquing these commercials was not enough. Being in different venues such as small to large social gatherings, allowed me to gauge whether my critiques were generally shared by others; without them knowing of my opinions. What commercials grabbed the allusive attention of patrons with various backgrounds and ethnicities, when together in a social setting and which was just ignored until the regularly scheduled program returned. Through these many controls, I was able develop a general understanding of how advertises could reach multiple demographics without being at times obvious/insulting with their objective. The advertiser that demonstrates this quality, will therefore be able to produce the most cost effective and quality commercials(according to the viewers) while fully utilizing their COST OF CUSTOMER ACQUISITION.
If you agree with my praises, then I am saying that I will speak on behalf of the people who these advertisers are creating the commercials for. If they see that enough people are feeling the same as I feel (That a lot of these commercials, including Super Bowl commercials, can be much improved and enjoyable) then it is my hope that they will then spend the money to create both an informative AND QUALITY commercial.
Please feel free to subscribe and/or submit commercial titles that you wish for me to view, examine and post on my channel with a full grading by describing in detail points that makes the commercial a success in modern times or not so favorable. If you are an advertiser, then it is my hope that you consider these praises for quality commercials BEFORE you are conceptualizing and planning your next T.V ad. Leave it to The Commercial Doctor to make the experience of watching commercials allllll better.

PRODUCTION: The effort that is put into a commercial can easily be seen by the viewer. The key to judging this category is understanding that some products are not able to benefit from a large production so therefore the production limitations according to the product will be considered.
INFORMATIVE: Explains the product in enough detail to inform the customer as well as maintaining the integrity of an entertaining commercial.
FUNNY OR INSPIRING: Although many commercials try to be in general funny or inspiring, it is a delicate balance that needs to paid attention to throughout the industry. Judging whether something is funny or inspiring is a challenge because what I think is funny, others may not. Knowing this, I pay attention to the delivery of the joke or inspiring message. Doing this, I have found that even though a joke or inspiring message may not be my style, I can still find the funny in the joke and the inspiration in the message.
CREATIVITY: I had to research the difference between creativity and cleverness. It is different in other situations but similar when judging a commercial; as far as a category is concerned. The creativity of a commercial can be overdone, therefore making it not clever. To be truly creative in making a commercial, knowing how to be subtle, tastefully obnoxious , or cleverly vanilla, is key.
TIME SLOT OPTIMIZATION: This category pertains to how well a company used their time slot for their commercial. If they excelled in a few categories, and then was graded n/a for another category, means that they could have spent some more time fulfilling that missing category.
NOTES: At the end of the commercial you will see the grades as well as notes where I make additional comments about the commercial.
