There once lived a crow. One day he was very hungry. He said, "I didn't get food yesterday." "If I do not get food today I will starve to death." The crow was searching the food everywhere. Then his eyes fell to a piece of bread. He quickly went there, picked it up and flew off to a lonely place. He sat on a tree to enjoy the bread. Just then a hungry fox saw the crow, sitting on the tree with a bread in his mouth. He thought, "The bread looks delicious." "How can I get the bread from the crow." He used all the cunning means to get the bread. He sat near the tree and started praising the crow. He said, "Hello friend! How are you?" The crow did not say anything. The fox said again, "I know you are the most beautiful bird in the world." "You have also a sweet voice." "Will you sing a song for me? " The crow was flattered. He thought to sing for the fox. As soon as he opened his mouth, the bread fell on the ground. The fox quickly picked it up and ate it at once. The crow then realized how foolish he had been.
Moral of the story: "Never believe flattery."
