I was hesitant because it didn't show an adapter, but as you can see in the picture it comes with not only the adapter but a converter with both sata and ide connectors.
Quality is good, everything fits together tightly with no loose fitting. And I like the on/off switch on the adapter although there's no indicator led to show whether it is on or not.
Haven't hooked it up yet but if there's anything noteworthy about the performance I'll be sure to update.
