The method is simple:
0 check on the drop-down menu of the project media the option "preview area" to be able to see the top thumbnail with description
1 put projects in Icon View (bottom left of project panel)
2 click on preview area (is located on the drop-down of the small arrow top right of Project pannel.)
2 select the .mov or whatever video you want to use as poster frame.
3 The thumbnail of that video has a slider on the preview area. Just move to select frame
4 Click Poster frame (there is a tiny icon that looks like a camera on the left. Click on it and you are done. )
