In the Time-lapse setup screen you have a few parameters you need to setup;
First of all, there's the interval which is how often you take a photo.
Number of shot: select how many photos you want to take
Bellow, show you the minutes of recording to get the timelapse

Auto exposure:
use Each Frame: where there are drastic changes in lighting and camera movement
While FIXED FIRST FRAME works well for consistent lighting environments
