The basic use of a reel and guideline is an essential safety tool for all kinds of diving involving overhead environments. This video
discusses and demonstrates some of the more common wraps and tie offs used when securing guideline inside ship wrecks and caves. Whilst more commonly used by technical divers, these skills are also usefull for all recreational divers to learn. With a bit of practice they become easy to apply.
