Configuring a Dinstar VoIP Gateway (e.g., GSM/PRI/SIP gateways) depends on the model, but the general steps are mostly the same. I’ll guide you through the basic configuration:

---

🔧 Steps to Configure Dinstar Gateway

1. Connect to the Gateway

Connect your PC/Laptop to the gateway’s LAN port with an Ethernet cable.

Default IP address (factory): 192.168.11.1

Default username/password:

Username: admin

Password: admin

(If this doesn’t work, check your model’s manual – some models use 192.168.8.1 or 192.168.10.1)

Set your PC’s IP manually in the same range, e.g.:

IP: 192.168.11.2

Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.11.1

Open a browser → type http://192.168.11.1 → login.

---

2. Change Network Settings

Go to Network → LAN.

Set a static IP according to your network (e.g., 192.168.1.100).

Save & reboot.

Reconfigure your PC back to DHCP/normal network and access the new IP.

---

3. Configure SIP Trunk

Navigate to VOIP → SIP Trunk (or Service → SIP).

Click Add.

Enter:

SIP Server/Registrar IP: Your SIP server or IP PBX (e.g., Asterisk, FreePBX, Vicidial).

Port: Default is 5060.

Username/Authentication ID: Provided by your VoIP provider or PBX.

Password: Authentication password.

Save & Apply.

---

4. Configure GSM/PRI/FXO Ports

(depends on your model)

For GSM gateway:

Insert SIM cards.

Go to Mobile → Port Settings → Set carrier name, call duration, PIN code if required.

Check signal strength under Status → Mobile Port.

For PRI/E1 Gateway:

Go to Digital → PRI Settings.

Set Protocol (PRI/CAS), Line coding (HDB3), Framing (CRC4/No CRC4), Switch Type (EuroISDN, NI2, etc.) as per telco.

---

5. Routing Rules

Go to Call Routing → Outbound Routing.

Example: Route SIP → GSM (so outbound calls go through SIM).

Or GSM → SIP (so incoming mobile calls route to your PBX).

You can set prefix rules (e.g., 9XXXX route via GSM1).

---

6. Save & Reboot

After all changes, Save Config and Reboot the gateway.

Test calls from PBX or SIP softphone.

---

📊
